Woo, I’m gonna have to parse through that list later when I have some sit down time.
I didn’t see it on your list, but I would recommend “Drawing on the Right Side of Your Brain” by Betty Edwards. I know there’s some hullabaloo over the science of the left and right brain, but that doesn’t matter because this book taught me how to see the world more than anything, in order to draw it.
And, the one I always recommend, the “War of Art” by Steven Pressfield. This one will teach you how to tackle your calling to create art, no matter what happens in life; it will teach you why. Stick with the book. Listen to it like I did, whatever. Read it!
